           We have sporadic sightings here in Jeddore,..the last was in the last week of December,..In fact we hear them more often than not,..always love to hear them call ( they sound like black caps with laryngitis...)
  ...but they never approach the feeders,..choosing to stay in the conifer thickets that surround our property,..Is this a habit of caution or is it their preference to feed naturally? Is there any tried and true treat that could be offered to tempt them out of the spruce?
