Hi Everyone; This message is for all NS Bird Society Members: It's time to send in your tallies for 2006! I'd like as many people as possible to send me their total number of species seen in 2006 - and the number they saw in any one county. I don't need the names of any species - just the total number. It's a fun thing. I'll publish the results in the next issue. The point is to see who gets out and birds the most. A high tally is not indicative of expertise - just lots of time spent birding. The County tallies are a bit competitive. Everyone has a favourite county - usually the one they live in - and this will show which counties got birded the most.
