Hi, I was off birding this afternoon while Liz was at home raking leaves! (No MCP type comments please!). But her attention to the leaves was broken when a pair of Peregrines appeared over the front yard, screeching loudly. then interacted, chasing each other and zooming around, and even did the "locking talons and tumbling" act. One alighted in a tree for about 5 minutes, then both flew off. The commotion even attracted an elderly neighbour (not a birder) who came out of his house with a pair of binoculars to see what all the commotion was about.
