OK, I have put up another 'big tree' on the Nature N.S. website
(www.naturens.ca) and it is another one from Kings County. Surely all
you naturalists have come across large trees in all your wanderings in
other counties of this province. You should carry a tape measure with
you and a camera to document those trees and share them with the rest of
us. The autumn and winter are good time for measureing large trees since
it is easier to pick them out among other trees.

The last tree was a Black Cherry - not a huge tree but then Black Cherry
does not grow to be huge. Sugar Maples grow well here, but the big tree
table has only a couple. I am sure there are many to report.

Looking forward to submission,
Larry Bogan
Pres, Nature N.S. and manager of the 'Big Tree' table
