Greetings!

Wendy and I did a quick tour of some of the hot-spots in Dartmouth and Cole
Harbour this afternoon. A few highlights:

Sullivan's: 2 A. Coot, 2 C. Goose, 1 RC Kinglet
Birch Cove Park: 1 WB Nuthatch (heard only), 1 N. Flicker

All we could find on Lakeside Terrace were BC Chickadees, House Sparrows and
Song Sparrow.

Bissett Lake: 20 Ruddy Duck, 9 A. Coot, ~50 Scaup (mixed flock), ~30
(only!) C. Goose, ~6 C. Merganser
Dorothea Drive: 3 WT Sparrow, N. Cardinal pair, 1 OC Warbler, 1 YB Chat
(Thanks, Terry!!)

Many spots were very quiet probably since the birds were hunkered down in
the cooler weather today (10 degrees cooler than yesterday!).

Cheers,

Bob McDonald
