Yesterday (15 November) Eric Mills, Ian McLaren, and I sought out the
unseasonal hummingbird at Ballantyne's Cove Antigonish County. Ian
will have more on the hummingbird later today, but we enjoyed some
other Antigonish sightings.

South Lake / Cribbons Beach:

7 Horned Grebes
500 Red-breasted Mergansers
700 Bonaparte's Gulls (just one Black-headed Gull)

Ogden's Pond - St. FX University Field Station (Crystal Cliffs):

1 female Red-bellied Woodpecker
1 immature Northern Parula

Ogden's Pond and Beach:

3 Red-throated Loons
250 Northern Gannets
6 Surf Scoters, 1 White-winged Scoter, 1 Black Scoter
550 Bonaparte's Gulls (just one Black-headed Gull)

Cheers,
