All:

I explored W- and S-end Halifax hotspots yesterday. Robins are somewhat
diminished in area between St. Mary's and Waegwoltic clubs, along the NE Arm,
and two Baltimore Orioles amongst them only of mild interest.

This morning, in the areas around Sullivan's Pond, the only laggards were two
Orange-crowned Warblers in the tangles at the foot of Lakeside Terrace, N
border of Birch Cove Park. (These were gray-faced "taiga" birds - a bad term
from Sibley, since they breed in N boreal forest, not open taiga - subspecies
celata seems more apt.). Other than those, I only came across a single W. Palm
Warbler on the tangles NE of Oceanville School in E. Passage.
