Hi there,

I was in Dartmouth late on Friday afternoon (27 Oct.) and afterwards,
while there was still some light, seized the opportunity to visit a few
spots in Cole Harbour. At Bissett Lake, there were at least four American
Coots, as well as a small raft of scaup. No Canada Geese. A rowdy bunch
of people arrived so I didn't linger to look as long as I might have.

At the Cole Harbour Farm Marsh, visible from Dorothea Drive, there was a
flock of at least 40 Red-winged Blackbirds. An adult female Cardinal, and
a juvenile male Baltimore Oriole, were nice to see, in addition to the
usual sparrows and chickadees.

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
