All:

Bird diversity was limited at Hartlen Pt. this a.m.

Most robins have gone, with about 15-20 remainng.

A flock of 30-50 gnat-catching "Myrtle" Warblers had, in addition, two
flickers, a few goldfinches, 4 Golden-cr. Kinglets, and 5 Bl.-capped
Chickadees. A few Song Sparrows were more or less associated.

An Am. Coot was on the duck pond opposite house 1910, Shore Rd., E. Passage.
This adds to the somewhat higher than usual number of wanderers this fall.

The Eur. Wigeon on Sullivan's Pond (which is drained to expose almost all the
bottom) is increasingly macho.

Cheers, Ian McLaren
