Subject: cardinals

About a month ago, what I first took to be a female cardinal began
coming to the feeders in my back yard. As the days went on, the bird
began to show more and more red feathering, and I realized it must be
a young male. I am hoping he may decide to stay for the winter.
Two years ago, I had two females that stayed through the winter, then
left in the spring.
    Good birding,
Audrey Wellwood, 2795 Brooklyn Street, north of Aylesford
