I walked down the road at Sandhills to see if the bushes that were =
loaded with berries were still that way - they have been cleaned bare, =
but the holly berries are still there.  I also have lots of rose  seed =
near the house that hasn't been touched.  I have not seen any robins yet =
in this area.
What I do have is lots of grackles. I put out 4 litres of seed this =
morning and in two hours the grackle, red-wing blackbirds and blue jays =
have cleaned it all up.
The nyger seed is going slower. I have as many as 14 goldfinch,  one =
female purple finch, four whitethroat sparrows, a couple of song =
sparrows  and occasionally a few junko.  I did see a flock of about =
fifty junko at sandhills.
