All:

When I came home (W. end  Halifax) at 4:30 p.m.there were three Blackpoll
Warblers and a female House Finch munching berries, very abundant this year on
our porchside yew.  I watched them carefully using their beaks to strip the
flesh from the toxic seeds - clever birds.
