On Wednesday of this week there was quite a collection of waterfowl in =
the pond on the French Basin trail at Annapolis Royal=20

N Shoveller - about a dozen
1 female pintail
2 or 3 American wigeon
2 blue-wing teal
15 or so green-wing teal
2 dozen black ducks
approx 6 mallards
a bunch of pied billed grebes - probably a dozen
1 Canada goose (there were 2 broods this year which fledged 3 and 4 =
young)

3 species of gulls, 1 great bb gull, lots of herring and a few =
ring-billed
the odd double crested cormorant

a good flock of blackbirds - left at just that

yellow-rumped, palm and common yellowthroat; song and white-throated =
sparrows, lots of cedar waxwings and a dozen black-capped chickadees and =
an immature sharp-shinned hawk

That's roughly what I saw.
