I'm not sure = at this point if it is a rufous morph female or a non-breeding plumaged = male but I suspect its the latter. The Coot is still there, as is a = Great Blue Heron, which appears to be occasionaly feeding on the small = Rainbow Smelt that have shown up there but I think its health may be = questionable, as it spends a great deal of time on the small island with = the green waterfowl shelters and food station.
