Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

There was a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker at Point Pleasant Park in
Halifax this morning. It's my first, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.
It was a juvenile with extensive streaking on the head and
distinctive white barring on the shoulders..

If you want to see it, as this was less than an hour ago, it is near
the corner of Tower Road and Point Pleasant Drive. If you walk in
from that corner and not the parking lot you will find a path leading
to the pond. It was near the beginning of that path. The local
Downy was giving it a hard time, but it finally found it's own tree.

Cheers,

Ann M.
Halifax
