Jean Timpa has had a Carolina Wren singing in the tangled area behind
her house (25 Gaspereau Ave., Wolfville) for the last month. She only
just realized what it is. This morning it was singing loudly - giving
several variants of the "Tea Kettle" song, and giving loud "chchak"
scold notes. It seemed to respond to pishing but was very hard to see,
with just glimpses in the dense undergrowth.

Jean is quite happy for birders to explore, but the area is very
thick, with a steep slippery slope farther back.
