Index of Subjects Hello Gloria; The Nova Scotia Bird Society Website has a list of birders representing every region of the province along with their contact info. We have quite a few expert birders, some of whom voluntarily show visiting birders around, free of charge. We also have some professional birding tour guides: Blake Maybank (a link to his website is on our website); Joan Czapalay, Bethsheila Kent (for Cape Breton) and Fulton Lavender to name a few. The Nova Scotia Department of Tourism is well aware of our organization. We even have a representative who serves as our official link with NS Tourism. This year they bought a supply of our birding checklists to put in their information centres. Unfortunately, not all the info we offer NS Tourism seems to reach the individual tourist bureaus. However; if a visiting birder "Googles" Nova Scotia/birds they will be directed to our website: http://nsbs.chebucto.org If you can think of anything else we (The Bird Society) can do to promote birding in Nova Scotia - please let me know.
