Index of Subjects There is an island in the cove immediately to the east of Peggy's Cove on which Canada Geese have nested for ten years. It is a colony of sorts, with at least 8 pair this year, which produced at least six large broods of goslings. These birds then disperse somewhat, and as with the geese that Paul mentioned, St. Margaret's Bay is not far away.
