Mon July 31/06:

Windsor Sewage Ponds, Hants Co. :
At high tide at 5.45 p.m

74 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS

10 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS

  7 YELLOWLEGS Sp. (1 GTR, 4 LSR)

  I SPOTTED SANDPIPER

32 'PEEPS'

Another sighting of BOBWHITES. A friend in Castle Frederick, nr. Falmouth,
Hants Co., was startled to see TWO Bobwhites on her farm property over this
past weekend, wondering where they would have come from. One was sitting on
a parked tractor 'whistling' its familiar call and joined a second bird in
the nearby orchard when she went out to investigate.

Cheers
