- I am a fisheries and marine environment
specialist based in Halifax,
Canada, with an interdisciplinary background in marine affairs and
marine environmental science. My educational background
includes
an M.Sc.
in Marine Environmental
Protection (Wales),
a Graduate Diploma in Marine Affairs (Dalhousie), a
B.Sc. in Biology (Dalhousie), and being an
Alumnus of the International Ocean Institute.
My 16 years of career
experience in Canada, Niue (South Pacific), Somalia, and
the
United
Kingdom have been in fisheries and shellfish aquaculture
development, management, and research, marine affairs
project
management, and oceans policy research. I am also
involved with a research project on Integrated Maritime Enforcement.
