This popular tourist destination is commonly known as St. Andrews by the Sea. I visited this small town in August 2008 and again in May 2019.

All Saint's (Anglican) Church

This church was consecrated in 1867.

Church of St. Andrew (Roman Catholic)

This church was dedicated in October 1886.

Greenock Presbyterian Church

Constructed ca. 1865, this church reflects the Carpenter Gothic style.

As of 2017, this historic estate is used for an artists' residency.

Built by County Sheriff Elisha Shelton Andrews, this house is an example of Neo-classical architecture.

Miscellaneous Buildings

The Algonquin #1

The Algonquin Resort opened in 1889; it was significantly expanded in 1908. It was originally constructed (and operated) by the Canadian Pacific Railway company.

This building dates from 1939.

Commercial Building #1

I love the details in the brickwork, especially over the windows and just under the roofline.

Ross Memorial Library

This building dates from 1977. It is named for Henry Phipps Ross and Sarah Juliette Ross.
