(1) Is the Nova Scotia Research Foundation continuing geophysical work, either individually or jointly funded by other levels of government?
(2) What has been done with the previous information developed during the time geophysical work was being conducted?
(3) Was there a contract in late 1993 or early 1994 for geophysical work, funded under a Mineral Development Agreement with the federal government but subject solely to the contracting policies of the provincial government which provides for contracts over $5,000? If so, was the contract tendered ? If not, why not ?
(4) Credit was given to a member of the Nova Scotia Research Foundation Corporation at the recent Atlantic Geoscience Society Colloquium for a special session given on the geological evolution of the Magdalen Basin. The session was called 'Preliminary Geophysical Interpretations of the Antigonish- Mabou Sub-basin'. Was this session as a result of geophysical work undertaken by the Nova Scotia Research Foundation and, if so, during what time period was this work done?
