Note by A. McKay
.
When, in the early afternoon of Oct 6th, I contacted Mr. Bragg's office to
find out if any reply on this
matter was likely to be forthcoming, I was told that a letter to me had been
prepared for Mr. Bragg's perusal, but that he was as yet unaware of its
contents. I was told that he
was not in his office at that time but that he was expected to review the
matter later that day. I asked that Mr. Bragg's reply be faxed to me when
it was ready.
About 30 minutes later, I received this letter by fax. During that short
time, Mr.Bragg had clearly had little time to do anything other than to
arrive back at his office, sign the letter and pass it on to be faxed,
so that it would seem almost certain that he took little or no interest
in the "thorough investigation" for which he had asked.
