How can I register for a CCN account?

Login to the CCN as guest. Follow the link on the guest home page to register. Fill out the online registration form. Obtain a copy of the user agreement. Send a cheque or a photocopied piece of ID along with the user agreement to the CCN office. When they receive and verify your application, they will activate your account.

How do I create a bookmark?

To create your bookmark file in Lynx, press 'a' for add when you are viewing the document. It will ask you to add 'd' for document or 'l' for link. Press 'd'. The bookmark is added. Press 'v' to view the bookmark file.

To add a bookmark in Netscape, click on 'bookmarks' in the menu and then 'add bookmark'. It will add the document you're currently viewing. I don't advise explicitly telling patrons how to do this unless they ask for it. (although people will find out anyway) Sites unsuitable for public viewing may be added. I suggest that you clear the bookmarks periodically.
