- On July 10, 2015 Richard Starr published an article in the Nova Scotia Observer entitled Graham, Howard and the NDP's health care deal-making. Writes Starr, "The ironic thing is that while Howard's book is a critique of the NDP under Darrell Dexter's leadership and Graham's unleashes a bit of a pox on all political houses, Graham's book could well do greater damage to the NDP."
- On May 28, 2015, Joy Woolfrey published a feature review of Rise Again in Rabble.ca entitled, Hope betrayed? The Nova Scotia NDP's rocky fall from power. Woolfrey concludes her review by writing, "Rise Again is an excellent read and it is flying off the shelves of Nova Scotia's bookstores. Read a copy today!"
- On May 17, 2015, Michael Gorman in his Howe Room column in The Chronicle Herald wrote about the Springtide Collective's event, Howard Epstein & Graham Steele: Making Democracy Better. Wrote Gorman: "It was a fairly even mix of ego and entertainment as former New Democrat MLAs (and not-so-subtle rivals) Howard Epstein and Graham Steele got together last Friday for a debate."
- On May 15, 2015 the Springtide Collective hosted Book Pub: Graham Steele and Howard Epstein, a spirited discussion with these two former NDP MLAs about how to make politics better using as a springboard the example of the Dexter Government in Nova Scotia. It was moderated by Mount Saint Vincent University professor, Barbara Emodi. Springtide have made a video of the event available. - On May 11, 2015 Wendy Elliot published a review of Rise Again in the Kings County Register entitled Former MLA Howard Epstein dishes the NDP in new book, Rise Again.
- On May 5, 2015 Stephen Kimber published Howard Epstein on the rise and fall of Nova Scotia's NDP on Rabble.ca, a version of the article he had published earlier in Metro.
- On May 4, 2015 Stephen Kimber published Principle v power and the NDP, a brief review of Rise Again in Metro.
- On April 22, 2015 Michael Lightstone's article A poor job of acting on child poverty in The Chronicle Herald referred to and quoted from Rise Again.

- On March 30, 2015, Michael Lightstone published a review of Rise Again in The Chronicle Herald entitled Epstein's memoir Rise Again offers insightful look at politics.
