content are here today and gone tomorrow, links break and throw up bizarre
and often arcane
Code 404 - type
responses, and sometimes you may find the work of an anonymous wit hidden
awaiting discovery.

Offbeat error messages, genuine or false, can be found all over the net as people strive to humanize the often cold and unfriendly facade of the web and give it a mischievous grin. A mistyped URL, a server down for maintenance or just a bored typist and you stop and smile for a moment before going on.
