FLINN, Wendy Suzanne (LEBLANC)
At the young age of 64 it is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Wendy Suzanne Flinn March 14th 2018. She left us peacefully surrounded by her immediate family, husband Denis Flinn of 38 years, and daughters Jacqueline and Katie. Survived by brother Don LeBlanc (Vicki and children) she was the daughter of the late Don and Peggy LeBlanc. In her earlier days she was very active in figure skating and racketball, and no one could throw a frisbee further than her on Queensland beach. With motherhood it became very important for Wendy to stay at home and look after her family. In her later years she enjoyed being surrounded by the simplicity of nature. She became a wonderful gardener and enjoyed watching the birds come to her feeders. Many wonderful family trips were had and some of her favourite holidays were where the sun was shining in southern climates. She had a heart of gold and was always thinking of her family and friends. She was kind and generous with a great sense of humour. Cremation has taken place and a small immediate family gathering has been held. All donations can be made to Feed Nova Scotia, a cause she supported. |
