Hi, Richard. I've tried using those links, but it appears they only work if
you are using Lynx, which I don't have access to. I think Chebucto moved
all clients to a different software package as there were some problems with
Lynx. They may have retained access to the old software for technical
support. The html code in the links is written to be used from within the
system, and doesn't have the internet code to direct a user to the page from
outside.

I don't have telnet software and it's been years since I've used that type
of interface. I've checked through the help information on Chebucto, and it
appears that I could go through a complex process of trying to access these
links, and still maybe not get to the password change process. When I was
searching through the help menus, there were a lot of links that no longer
work for outside users.

This is my main email account, which I've had for about 25 years. I'm
concerned right now that my password may have been compromised, and I don't
want my email account to be hacked. There are over four thousand contacts
in my contact list, so sending out a message to let people know they should
contact me through a different email address isn't feasible, unless I close
the account and make a permanent change to a new ISP, which I really don't
want to do. All my user names on all of the sites where I'm registered are
based on this email address, and this is my primary email contact address,
and it would be an enormous challenge to try to make all those changes.

I've changed my password since the move to Horde, so there used to be a
link. Something has happened to remove it. It's very important for people
to be able to change their password quickly and easily if it is compromised.

Could you please let me know if it's not going to be possible to change the
password soon, as I should start that process of moving to a new email
account if that's not possible.

Thanks

Sheila

*** D'OH! I captured the wrong link. It should still have gone to a
"Password" document, though.

    Regardless, try this link:

Password Change

If it is not accessible, you might try telnetting into the Lynx browser,
as the above is a csuite link. Do you have a telnet client?

*** It is related to the CCN Text Service, which is still viable; in
fact, I am using it now.

*** I don't think one could change one's CCN password via Horde, but
I am unfamiliar with this feature, if it exists.

*** OK. If you can't get anywhere, when the CCN Office reopens after
Covid Season, you could get them to change it for you.

In the meantime, I will query CCN Technical to see if there is
another option.
