Index of Subjects Hi there, when I try to Save a message to the 'sent-mail' folder, Pine says 'Folder does not exist', but when I try to create 'sent-mail' as a new folder, Pine says 'Folder already exists', and it gets stuck in a loop -- it thinks 'sent-mail' exists and does not exist at the same time! I created a 'test' folder and saving a message to the 'test' folder worked just fine. It has something to do with the 'sent-mail' folder only (possibly corrupted?). ----- On Sat, 10 Aug 2019, Richard Bonner wrote: > Date: Sat, 10 Aug 2019 08:09:55 -0300 (ADT) > From: Richard Bonner <ak621@chebucto.ns.ca> > Reply-To: Chebucto User help <userhelp@chebucto.ns.ca> > To: Bryan McCloud <ai666@chebucto.ns.ca> > Subject: Re: Problems with 'sent-mail' folder > > > On Fri, 9 Aug 2019, Bryan McCloud wrote: > >> There is something wrong with my PINE 'sent-mail' folder, when I try to >> open it it says 'Folder does not exist', won't let me create it manually >> (although it appears in the list of folders), > > *** I just checked mine with PINE; the folder exists and I can open it. > > Could you please create a "Test" folder to see if this is possible, If so, > copy (save) an existing e-mail to it, then try to open that e-mail in the > target folder. > > Be sure to only *copy* an e-mail so you don't lose it.
