Regarding mail folder renaming, you typed:

*** I have some things to try as suggested by CCN Tech:
1. Don't have PINE create those folders automatically (turn that
feature to `off' in PINE configuration), and rename the "sent-mail"
folder manually with PINE.
2. See if a password change remedies the issue.
*** Some long-time users have had to change their passwords for a
reason I don't understand. You might try that and wait until April 1
to see what happens.

I long ago turned off the feature to rename folders because I
wanted sent mail to be categorised. As such, I fill in the `FCC' field
in PINE so that my replies go to a specific folder of my naming. Thus
for me, there is never anything in my Sent Mail folder anyway.
