***   CCN Technical has been doing work regarding an on-going upgrade 
of the mail system. What you describe is apparently is a side effect 
for some people. I have CCed this to them.

    In the meantime, if you know how to access PINE via the CCN Text 
Service, PINE will allow folder manipulation. If not, send a message 
back and one of the UserHelp volunteers will step you through that 
process.

    Please be patient; this is a holiday weekend and few CCN personnel 
are available.
