Thank you Richard for trying to help me with this. I had heard  
somewhere along the way that the Telnet option was not secure  
generally but I won't pretend to be particularly knowledgeable  
technically and I wouldn't know the first thing about how to go about  
accessing Putty or SSH/SSL. I was hoping the solution would be simpler.
