Index of Subjects Hi Richard: The erroneous message has disappeared and all is now working normally as it used to. PuTTY is recommended for telnet and SSH access: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ "PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Windows and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. It is written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham." I've used it for years to access my Chebucto email and to access a Unix server which handles computations I do. Many thanks for your help, Stuart ======================= On Fri, 8 Feb 2013, Richard Bonner wrote: } }On Tue, 5 Feb 2013, J.
