Index of Subjects Hi Tony: Thanks for your response. This afternoon I downloaded a small program and the download speed held constant at about 4.8 but yesterday it was all over the map. I have several spare modems here and I just replaced the one I have been using. It is an external modem so it was no problem. With some luck , maybe that will be the answer. Thanks .......
