I tried this initialization- Novaterm won't accept that many
characters, but tried the number that fitted. Also used my usual init
number that is the Novaterm default, and the number that is in a
Commodore book by Gaelyn Gasson that references Novaterm 9.6.

I have several reus and rotated them. Ultimately tried a Commodore
1200 bod modem in user port. I got to Chebucto, but garbage scrolled
down the screen - - I did confirm that my programme and modem speeds
were identical.

I was not able to resurrect any of my other Commodore computers. I
think the way my external pc type modem is set may be a factor.

Would have thought at least my 1200 bod modem in user port would work.
After a few hours, my 2 drives would only load half of novagterm-
maybe overheating.

Lots of frustrations.
