She is the author of several books including: "Counting for Nothing" (1988) that is the basis of the National Film Board documentary "Who's Counting: Sex, Lies and Global Economics"; "Three Masquerades: Essays on Equality, Work and Human Rights" (1996); and "In the Lifetime of A Goat" (2004). Dr. Waring has led major development projects for United Nations Development Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and Development Fund for Women. 5:00pm - 6:30pm Screening of the film "Who's Counting?
