Some of you knew Chris Richards. He graduated from Dal in Kinesiology not
long ago (2004?). I believe Chris was a volunteer at the Grainery.
Chris left Halifax for the North. He was much loved here in Yellowknife,
especially in the eclectic Woodyard community. Chris continued to spread
warmth, music and green ideas. We kept him supplied with organic lentils
and other food goodness from Wild West Organic Co-op, so he wouldn't miss
the Grainery so much.
Chris lost his life 21 May 05 in the Kakisa River, doing what he loved to
do -- enjoying the beautiful Northern wilderness.
