The Green Party of Canada is hosting the first PEI screening of The End of Suburbia: Oil Depletion and the Collapse of the American Dream. This new documentary film looks at the North American Way of Life and its prospects as global demand for fossil fuels begins to outstrip supply. Part of the new wave of progressive documentaries that includes Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Corporation, The End of Suburbia has been featured at film festivals and community screenings all over North America. Free admission. City Cinema 2:00 PM on Saturday March 12. After the film there is a casual meeting at the Gahan House for anyone interested in getting involved with the Green Party.
