If you LOVE this planet ... and feel AFFECTIONATE towards sustainable
energy and the Kyoto Protocol ...

... tune in VALENTINE'S DAY at 0830 am
to CBC Radio One for "The Current" with Anna Maria Tremonti.

You'll hear my Northern neighbours Bob Bromley of Ecology North
and Jennifer Duncan of the Arctic Indigenous Youth Alliance
sharing (LIVE) their concerns about the proposed Mackenzie Gas Project.

There is nothing ROMANTIC about the MGP. If approved, this project could
single-handedly blow Canada's Kyoto commitment b/c it will pump such a
high volume of Northern natural gas into the Alberta Tar Sands ...
where it will be used to produce the world's dirtiest oil.

Made necessary because we in our collective ignorance demand petroleum.
Something we as consumers should think about before we hop in a car or
book a plane ticket.

~Paul

"If everyone demanded peace instead of another
television set, then there'd be peace."

                         --John Lennon
