Workshop on Climate Change Projects and Opportunities for Nova Scotian
NGOs
Organized by the Climate Change Centre and Environment Canada

For: Employees and volunteers with non-government organizations and
others concerned with climate change.

Where: Alderney Landing Theatre Rotunda, 2 Ochterloney St. (in the Ferry
Terminal on Alderney Drive), Dartmouth, NS

When: Wednesday, March 3, 2004, 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

What: This workshop, organized by Clean Nova Scotia’s Climate Change
Centre and Environment Canada, is structured to provide useful
information, tools, and networking opportunities for NGOs working on
climate change projects and those considering working on climate change
projects. NGOs conducting climate change related work in Nova Scotia
are invited to showcase their projects, facilitate information exchange
and enable other NGOs to better understand the current state of climate
change work in Nova Scotia. Breakout groups will explore new project
ideas for NGOs, particularly for those considering involvement in
climate change. Proposal writing tips and funding opportunities will be
discussed, and a mock-up EcoAction proposal will be completed
step-by-step.

The full day workshop is free; however pre-registration is required by
February 27th (see registration form below).

If you have any questions please contact Tara Gibson at 902-424-6684,
