Benefit screening of the NFB film, "Is the Crown at
war with us?"

A benefit screening of the NFB film, "Is the Crown at
war with us?" will be held on Friday, March 21, 7:00
pm at the ScotiaBank Auditorium, Dalhousie University,
6135 University Ave. in Halifax. Funds are being
raised to support fishers from the community of Burnt
Church who continue to bear legal costs resulting from
their struggle over Aboriginal fishing rights. This
event is sponsored by the Metro Coalition for a
Non-Racist Society, the Aboriginal Law Students
Association and the Social Activist Law Student
Association to mark the International Day for the
Elimination of Racism. Guests from Burnt Church will
be in attendance. A minimum donation of $10. is
suggested. If you cannot attend but would like to make
a donation, cheques can be sent to the Wabanaki
Nations Resource Centre, Box 2051, Burnt Church, New
Brunswick, E9G 4J9.
