The Social Activist Law Student Association (SALSA) would like to invite you to our second annual SALSA party! SALSA is a group of law students at Dalhousie University working to address issues of social justice, inequality, poverty, and environmentalism through the Canadian legal system. SALSA is not to be confused with salsa, a tasty tomato-based dip traditionally served with tortilla chips; however, due to popular demand there will be salsa served at the SALSA party. Come meet the SALSA kids and find out what this spicy little group is all about - this Thursday at 7pm at the Khyber Club on Barrington. For more information, contact us at activistlaw@hotmail.com or visit http://www.geocities.com/activistlaw/ Ole! -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- SUST-MAR TIP: subscription management commands go to majordomo@chebucto.ca CBC enviro news-briefs follow: -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- INTERNATIONAL GARBAGE PILES UP AT HALIFAX AIRPORT The company that used to incinerate the waste from international flights at the Halifax Airport shut down its operations on Thursday.
