Hi everyone! We are now going to be having the protest we originally planned for last Monday this coming Monday October 28 at noon in front of the Casino Hotel to coincide with an extemely important meeting of the provincial and federal Environment and Energy ministers in which the federal government's plan for meeting the Kyoto target will be unveiled. We need to make sure the ministers and the general public (through media coverage) know that this is an issue Nova Scotians are very concerned about! We need as many of you as possible to come out and meet us at the hotel at 12:00 or walk with us from the EAC at around 11:40 am. Please let me know if you can attend as I need to get an idea of numbers. We have one polar bear costume in case anyone is interested in wearing that!! Let me know Thanks Alex Alexandra Fischer TRAX Project Coordinator Ecology Action Centre Tel (W) : 429-0924 -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- SUST-MAR TIP: copyright material cannot be posted to the list CBC enviro news-briefs follow: -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- TOBEATIC AT CENTRE OF ENVIRONMENTAL BATTLE It seems to be a battle of jobs versus the environment.
