Several years ago a chemical known as Dursban was approved for use on the
potatoe and agricultural areas of PEI (i.e., virtually everywhere).
Dursban is a known mutagen and carcinogen. Independent testing over 5
years and 8 years ago showed Dursban occuring in all PEI wells (i.e.,
their major source of drinking water). Haven't heard about this from your
government reps? Ask them why.
