PRESS RELEASE Celebrate Falls Brook Centre’s 10th Anniversary! Knowlesville, NB – Falls Brook Centre is celebrating its 10th Anniversary at this year’s Fair, on September 7th and 8th. This year’s Fair promises to be very special with a great line-up of some of New Brunswick’s best musicians, including: East Coast Music Award nominee Isaac and Blewett; Juno and ECMA entertainer Vetch; captivating singer-songwriter Debbie Adshade; and local blues masters Flat Top (formerly known as Stubby Fingers). Most of these musicians will be playing at Fredericton’s Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival the following weekend, so come early to get a taste of the festival! In addition, Falls Brook Centre is pleased to showcase many local musicians, ranging from a young trumpet player to a yodeller. A special concert on the Friday night before the Fair will feature ECMA Blues Group of the Year nominees, Hot Toddy. The concert starts at 8:00 pm. Entrance is by advance tickets only. Tickets cost $10 and can be reserved through Falls Brook Centre. There are a limited number, so reserve yours as soon as possible. Besides the great music, the Fair will showcase a pie making contest, a potato-carving contest, great food (including a corn boil, sausages, homemade frozen yoghurt, and Guatemalan food), games, tours of Falls Brook Centre, a magician, a solar energy workshop, interesting booths, and the annual auction on Sunday at 4:00 pm.
