Community Energy Planning Workshop - May 9, 2002 in Halifax Natural Resources Canada is holding a Community Energy Planning workshop in Halifax on May 9, 2002. The workshop will present options for developing and using energy more wisely, with a focus on district energy systems. District energy systems provide economic, reliable heat and added benefits such as better air quality and community revitalization. Dalhousie University is co-sponsoring the workshop. Municipal and community leaders, local decisions makers, planners, developers, consulting engineers and others interested in renewable energy for community development and environmental protection are invited to attend.
