Community Energy Planning Workshop - May 9, 2002 in Halifax
Natural Resources Canada is holding a Community Energy Planning workshop in 
Halifax on May 9, 2002.  The workshop will present options for developing and 
using energy more wisely, with a focus on district energy systems. District 
energy systems provide economic, reliable heat and added benefits such as 
better air quality and community revitalization. Dalhousie University is 
co-sponsoring the workshop.

Municipal and community leaders, local decisions makers, planners, developers, 
consulting engineers and others interested in renewable energy for community 
development and environmental protection are invited to attend.  Cost of the 
workshop is $100, $60 for students.  For an agenda and to register, contact

VANDALS BEAT UP NATURE TRAIL
The Isle Madame Development Association will hold an emergency meeting
Monday night, to show board members photos of the vandalism to a
nearly-finished tourist trail.  The eight-kilometre-long forest trail
was designed to attract tourists interested in the ecology and history of
the area.
