Index of Subjects Hi folks (apologies for the short notice), If you're interested in wilderness and land protection issues in Nova Scotia, or have ever wondered what the Nova Scotia Nature Trust is all about, then you are strongly encouraged to attend our upcoming Annual General Meeting. The Nature Trust is a non-profit organization working to protect significant lands under private ownership in Nova Scotia. With only 30% of the province under public ownership, we feel this is a significant mission to retain the wildness, diversity, and character of Nova Scotia. Come and celebrate successes over the past year, and see what we have in store for the future. NSNT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Tuesday April 23 at 7:00pm Maritime Museum of the Atlantic (2nd Floor Meeting Room) Special guest speaker: Bob Bancroft, the Environment and Wildlife expert on CBC Radio's Maritime Noon & Nature Trust Board Director on "Old Growth Forests - Too Valuable to Lose!" There will also be a slide presentation by Nature Trust staff showcasing our conservation projects and success stories. Delicious snacks and wine have been generously provided by: SCANWAY, JOST VINEYARDS, CERTAINLY CINNAMON and MACFARLAND'S RENTIT http://www.nsnt.ca/ -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- SUST-MAR TIP: to leave the list, PLEASE send "unsubscribe sust-mar" (or unsubscribe sust-mar-digest") to majordomo@chebucto.ca -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-
