PANIC, PROTECTION, OR PARANOIA? Canada's Response to Terrorism Discussion Panel Bruce Archibald - Law Professor Jennifer Llewellyn - Associate Law Professor Mohammed Loubani - President, Halifax Muslim Association NDP Representative (TBA) **Tuesday, December 4 3:00-4:30 pm** 6061 University Avenue, Room 207 Dalhousie Law School Information Panel on Anti-Terrorism Bill. What does the proposed Anti-terrorism Bill, Bill C-36 mean for Canadians? This document is the subject of an educational panel presentation to be held December 4 at Dalhousie University Law School. Panel organizer, Kerri Gaskin, says, “I think Canadians need to be informed. This Bill, if passed, potentially affects every person in this country.” Panel organizers are expecting broad representation from the community, in part, because so many Canadians are concerned about civil liberties in light of September 11. Panelists will each address the audience from their area of expertise and will then answer questions. The panel is organized by a recently developed students’ group, SALSA – Social Activist Law Students’ Association. Admission is free. The panel will be held at the Weldon Law Building on Dalhousie campus on December 4 from 3:00 – 4:30pm.
