Dear ACIC Members,
I would like to invite you and your organization to attend the Atlantic
Council for International Cooperation's Professional Development Workshop
(topic to be determined) on Saturday, March 9, 2002 and ACIC’s Annual
General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, March 10, 2002.
The Workshop and AGM will be held at the Mayfield Quality Inn in Mayfield,
Prince Edward Island. Mayfield is located on the North Shore of PEI, 45
minutes from Borden, 20 minutes from Charlottetown, and 35 minutes from
Summerside.
Blaine Merchand, Director of NGO Project Facility – CIDA, and Jan Barnabé,
Senior Program Manager, NGO Project Facility – CIDA, will attend the Annual
General Meeting.
Items of business to be transacted at the Annual General Meeting will
include:
* Report from the Chair
* Report from the Coordinator
* Amendments to By-Laws
* Resolutions
* Questions of Membership
* Election of Representatives to the Board
* Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
* Annual Report of the Board
* Financial Statement and Auditor’s Report for the 2000 Fiscal Year
* Appointment of Auditors for next year
IMPORTANT NOTE: The deadline for sending in by-law amendments and
resolutions is Monday, December 10th, 2001.
Voting:
Each regular member organization will have 2 votes at the Annual General
Meeting, and each Associate Member organization will have 1 vote. For proxy
voting, please see by-law section 23 under "Voting".
Travel Bursaries:
Travel bursaries will be available for ACIC members.
Display Information:
Tables will be provided to display information material of your
organization.
This is your opportunity to shape the future of the Atlantic Council for
International Cooperation and ensure your organization's dreams and needs
are included in the business plan for next year.

Au nom du Conseil Atlantique pour la Coopération Internationale j’aimerais

* Demandes d’adhésion pour les nouveaux membres
* Élection des membres du conseil d’administration
* Le procès-verbal de la dernière assemblée générale annuelle.
* Rapport annuel du conseil d’administration
* États financiers et rapport des vérificateurs pour l’année fiscale 2000.
* Nomination des vérificateurs pour l’année suivante.
Veuillez Noter : La date limite pour envoyer les amendements aux règlements
et résolutions est lundi le 10 décembre, 2001.
Vote :
Chaque organisme qui est membre régulier aura droit à 2 votes à chaque
assemblée et chaque organisme qui est membre associé aura droit à 1 vote.
Pour vote par procuration s’il vous plait voir règlement 23.
Bourses pour voyager :
Des bourses pour voyager seront disponibles pour les membres du Conseil
Atlantique pour la Coopération Internationale.
Tables pour information :
Il y aura des tables disponibles pour exposer votre information.
Ceci est votre chance de former le futur du CACI et d’assurer que les rêves
et besoins de votre organisation seront inclus dans le plan d’affaire pour l
’an prochain.
