Continuing with the theme of email lists that people may want to join ...
one of the best email lists I've found is not a list at all. It's the
email newsletter of Home Grown Organic Foods. Many of you know Geordie and
his food boxes ... local organic food delivered to your door. If you're a
customer of Geordie, i.e. a member, then you will know about Geordie's
excellent email newsletter. It includes much of the same sort of news
you'll see on sust-mar or sust-mar-digest. What sets this one apart, is
that Geordie edits the news, and posts a short weekly summary. Available
in hardcopy too.
To join, you'll need to pay a $5 lifetime membership fee ... which of
course also qualifies you to order food boxes.

on CKDU 97.5 -- is also the host of a neighbourhood email list. If you
live in the Commons North area, you can join this list and find out what's

Finally -- imitation being the sincerest form of flattery -- we in the
adjoining neighbourhood decided to copy Larry's list. If you live in the
Bloomfield Neighbourhood area (e.g. Bloomfield St., Belle Aire Terrace,
Fuller Terrace, Ontario St., Black St., Northwood Terrace, etc. you will
hopefully want to join the new neighbourhood list we are starting. Like
sust-mar, this one is moderated to one message per day. If you'd like to
be added to the mailing list for this new list, RSVP to me.
